Tell us why you became a teacher

I’ve always loved kids and also helping my community. I’ve wanted to be a teacher since the 4th grade. The teachers i had growing up made an huge impact on me.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

Last year, with it being my first year teaching. My most memorable experience was seeing students becoming velcro students early on, and me being able to connect real world situations to the lesson. Having students also explain to their peers if what I said in simpler terms to help them grasp it and them working together to understand lessons with also passing the test.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If i received the money, I would give back to the school I teach at. Give my students a better environment to learn in and take them on an educational field all expenses paid.
