Tell us why you became a teacher

I began teaching to inspire young minds, create opportunities, and help every child believe in their potential and future. And also when I use to volunteer at my child school the kids loved me and I love working with them.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

JHM, a student who uses a wheelchair, showed incredible determination in my class. Through hard work and perseverance, she overcame her learning disability and transitioned from my self-contained classroom back to general education. Her journey is a reminder that with support, effort, and belief in oneself, barriers can be turned into stepping stones.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won the $25,000, I would transform my classroom into a space where every student feels valued and capable. As a single mother & teacher, I know what it means to face challenges with limited resources, and I want my students to know they can overcome obstacles too. I would use the funds for adaptive tools,hands-on materials & technology that support learners of all abilities, helping them gain confidence and achieve their potential. Every day, I witness students rise above their challenges.
