I became a teacher to make a lasting difference in children’s lives. I love helping students discover their strengths, build confidence, and develop a love of learning. Teaching allows me to create a positive, supportive environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

One of my most memorable teaching experiences was guiding my class through a hands-on ecosystem project. Watching students collaborate, design their own ecosystems, and explain how each component interacted was incredible. Their creativity, curiosity, and teamwork shone, and it reminded me why teaching is so rewarding: seeing students truly understand, apply, and take pride in their learning.

I would use the $25,000 to enhance my classroom and students’ learning experiences—purchasing hands-on materials, technology, and resources that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in every child.
