I’ve always dreamed of being a teacher but never thought I would. As the first college graduate in my family, I wanted to prove to myself and my students that anything is possible. I became a teacher to create a safe, loving classroom where every child feels seen, supported, and believes in themselves from the very start.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching moment was seeing a student finally believe in themselves. Watching their confidence grow, their smile light up, and knowing I played a small part in that moment reminded me exactly why I became a teacher.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I were given $25,000, I would invest it back into my classroom to create an engaging, supportive space for my students but I would also set aside a little for a family vacation. With my husband being in the military, our time together is so valuable, and I’d love to create special memories with my family when we have that time. Balancing my passion for teaching with moments that matter at home means everything to me.
