Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceA student once told me, “I hate you. No matter how rude I am, you’re always kind saying good morning, helping me, and telling me you’re proud.” I told her one day it would make sense. Weeks later she burst into my room excited, saying, “Sir, I passed my math STAAR!” She wasn’t even my student I helped her while teaching in ISS during my conference. Moments like that remind me that some students simply need kindness, encouragement, and someone who believes in them.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would split into three programs wrestling, chess, and robotics at my school.
