Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I believe in the potential of every student. I see who they can become, not just where they are today, and I am committed to helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I have always valued learning. It is a lifelong process of curiosity, reflection, and improvement. Teaching allows me to be the steady, supportive adult that students need especially those who face challenges and require additional guidance.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of my most memorable teaching moments was when a student who had been struggling finally understood a difficult concept. After adjusting my approach, breaking it into smaller steps, and providing visual supports, I saw their frustration turn into confidence. When they explained the idea back to me in their own words, it was more than academic success, it was a moment of growth, perseverance, and belief in themselves.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to help me pay some of my payments which would help my family out tremendously.
