I love teaching. Being in the classroom and sharing knowledge is fulfilling. I love finding cool new ways to teach, using technology and keeping different learning styles in mind. Ms. W teaches with passion. I love learning, but watching my kids grow as peop is even better. The"ah-ha" moments where something clicks and new concepts are learned are great, but the sense of pride in their work and character development makes me proud to be their teacher. We also love to have a good time.

I love our hands on activities. We took a field trip for science to learn about the 5C's in AZ. Cattle, cotton, copper, citrus and climate. The kids dug in the dirt for worms, fed plants, watched cattle herding, learned water cycles, and rode a huge tractor. We even had a cowboy from our class ride his own horse for us. So much learning happened it warmed my heart. They interacted and participated with vigor. All had stories to tell when they went home. It was a fun, full day of AZ pride.

I would love to see alternative seating and hands-on materials in my classroom and for the entire 3rd grade. This is their first year out of the primary school, so organization is a new concept. The desks supplied don't help collaboration. I made most things by hand to set up my new room. I want to be able to give away prizes, be more organized, and have materials to create learning packets and purchase digital supplemental materials. I'd also sponsor another field trip!
