I teach history because many students think it’s boring and I love proving them wrong. Watching them grow to enjoy a subject they once dreaded is incredible. Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable lesson is when I teach the hardships of moving west using the Oregon Trail game. Students start cocky, convinced they’ll breeze through; until dysentery humbles them. Suddenly every choice matters, from buying supplies to crossing rivers. It’s the perfect mix of history, chaos, and video‑game reality check.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000, I would finally buy my first home and begin a college fund for my daughters. It would help me build security for them now and invest in their dreams later.
