Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher to make a difference in the students’ lives, which I pray I am, but they are also making a difference in mine. These students are so inspiring. The things they think of and thinking outside the box never ceases to amaze me.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experience was teaching a summer camp last year. We taught middle school students for a week all about health science. It was so wonderful to see them asking so many great questions and absorbing all of the information.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would purchase classroom supplies, upgrade some of my anatomical models, and equipment. I would also take my officers on a planning retreat and host a community wellness fair.
