As long as I remember I wanted to be a teacher. I’ve always loved helping kids in many different capacities. Helping kids be able to be independent parts of the world, is so rewarding.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThere’s not one single moment that is the most memorable, but watching kids achieve goals is my favorite part. Being in Special Ed, we work on specific goals and when a kid meets their goals, we celebrate! One moment in particular stands out where the excitement of a kid was amazing, and his immediate response was he wanted to call his mom, which melted my heart. Their progress and excitement excites me!
What would you do with the $25,000?Pay off debt! Being a teacher is not an amazing paying gig, which comes with student loan debt. I don’t have tons left, but would love to pay that down.
