Learn MoreIn the 3rd grade I was able to pair with the life skills class in my elementary school. After working with all the kids and really becoming their friend, I realized this is the only thing I ever could do. Each day I wake up and I’m able to change a life as best I can.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience isn’t a single “thing”. It’s a collection of moments watching parents and families see all their child can do. It’s giving hope when they feel defeated. It’s seeing my students who are classified as “intensive” doing all the things someone before me has said they could not or would never do.
