Learn MoreTeaching allows me to invest in lives that are still discovering who they are. I love creating a classroom where students feel safe to try, fail, grow, and succeed. Watching a child gain confidence, develop a love for learning, and realize their potential is incredibly rewarding. Those small everyday moments of growth are why I love what I do.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable experiences was watching a student who struggled academically begin to believe in himself. Through patience, encouragement, and prayer, he started taking risks and celebrating small victories. By the end of the year, he stood proudly sharing his work with the class. Moments like that remind me teaching is about shaping hearts as much as minds.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I won the $25,000, I would invest in my classroom and students by building an even richer learning environment filled with books, creative learning tools, and experiences that make learning come alive. I would also use part of it to grow literacy opportunities for students, helping them discover the joy and confidence that comes from reading and learning.
