I’ve always had a passion for watching people grow in and achieve things they couldn’t I’m a fourth generation teacher and my family has been teaching in our local district for nearly 60 years. I believe that teachers have the ability to inspire and make lasting impacts beyond the classroom and into the adult lives of children. I find it very important that learning about the history of our world and how people interact is vital to people skills and how we understand the world we live in today

Many of my lessons, bring the classroom to life. Reenacting trench warfare in the classroom for World War I, simulating the stock market crash with stocks and money, and conducting court case against some of our most notorious historical figures.

My wife is also a teacher passed away in November 2025 and we would use that money to establish a scholarship fund in her name for students who are interested in becoming future educators, athletic trainers, and forensic scientists in the future. We would also make a donation to the cystic by Foundation, which she and my two children both were diagnosed with from an early age.
