Tell us why you became a teacher

I actually became a teacher because the job came up. So I decided to apply for it. I got it. I have been there 20 years, and I absolutely love it. There are kids that I had 20 years ago that still come up to me and gives me hugs. One of my passed students wanted to job shadow me and follow in my foot steps. I can't imagine working any where else. Yes they are challenging at times but it's not to bad. The kids just make me happy. I look forward to going to work everyday.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experience is when we do St.Patrick leprechaun week. We have a little leprechaun and he moves round the room then he trashes the classroom. We have a trap set up for him and put feet print down, and also coins. The kids absolutely love this.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would definitely take a family vacation and go on a cruise. And then the rest of the money I would pay off some bills.
