I became a teacher because I was in special education when I was younger. I had amazing teacher that help me over come my learning challenges, and I want to be that for others.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceIt was my first year as a high school Math teacher. I was a long-term sub for a teacher on maternity leave. When I came back the next year I had one my students write me a note about how much she appreciated me and how it was the first time she ever felt like an adult cared about her.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would really love to get new desk for my classroom. Many of them are falling apart and it would be nice to have flexible seating for projects.
