Learn MoreI have always loved school and loved learning. Some of my favorite memories of school were being teaching assistants and helping with the lessons. Now that I have been on this incredible journey, I have learned how much of an impact I can make with my kids by valuing there curiosity and giving them opportunities to learn about our world through the experiences in my Science classroom. What a gift that is!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceIt is hard to think of just one from a 33 year long history of teaching in many grade levels with so many amazing students, but for me, having the opportunity to teach teach teachers at several State and Local Science Conferences is so rewarding. The collaboration between myself and the teachers provides a unique opportunity to share ideas about how all of us can create learning experiences for our students that are meaningful and engaging.
What would you do with the $25,000?Two thoughts come to mind. The first opportunity would be to update the Science Equipment and Science Library we have at the School I am currently working at, and the second would be to create accounts for my two Grandsons for their future educational opportunities.
