Learn MoreI first wanted to help the child that was unnoticeable. I still am with smiling and making eye contact with every child I can. I currently want to blow students minds and get them interested in learning.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceWhen I teach how to light a light bulb, I use the guess and check method. I want them to discover how to light a light bulb. With just two wires, a battery and a bulb and some masking tape they begin. When the first student figures it out I , I let the students know go see what the other student did. Some do some dont. Some want to figure it out on their own. When each child eventually lights up the bulb, its like each one is a little Edison each time and they did it.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to create a science lab for students to experiment safely. With another science teacher we would plan out the best, long lasting lab for the best use with kids
