I became a teacher because I love helping others and love working with children. I had many amazing teachers throughout my life that inspired me.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was when I was teaching my 4th grade students about the eye and how it works. During the hands-on portion of the lesson, students began to discover that they actually see images upside down, but the brain “uprights” the image automatically for you. To watch my students’ reactions is something that will never get old. It is moments such as those that make my world go round!
What would you do with the $25,000?Wow-what an impact I could make with $25,000! I would purchase much needed supplies that would allow me to continue to inspire the next generation of learners and help ensure more “ah-ha” moments for them.
