Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher to change the world and help out younger generations grow to what they can be and more.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experience was my first year teaching as a teacher assistant working with PreK 4 students and three months in the lead teacher decides to leave and I had to step up and lead a class. Within 3 months my students reached their goals or above, parents loved me, staffed was shocked because it was my first year and my students was thriving, and my students was great. Most students couldn’t even write their name but in 3 months they did.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I win the 25,000 I would pay some of my debt off, donate money to my school Ingenuity Prep in Washington, DC, and make sure my 7 year old daughter have the best experience in Disney World because that is where I want to take her.
