I worked for 21 years in early care. It didn't pay well and I was getting divorced, so I put myself through grad school to get my certifications. I needed a way to better support my own children while still working with children.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy first year out of grad school was a LTS position in the district where I grew up. I still see students that I had then, which was five years ago and they still run up and give me hugs, some of them have graduated.
What would you do with the $25,000?Pay off my car, save some, and take my boys on a vacation. I would like us to have something good to celebrate, so a vacation would be amazing.
