I love teaching because I get to watch little minds grow, confidence bloom, and curiosity turn into learning.

I became a teacher because I wanted to make a positive difference in children’s lives and help them grow both academically and personally. Watching students build confidence, discover their strengths, and reach goals they once thought were impossible is incredibly rewarding. Being part of their learning journey and helping shape their future is what inspires me every day
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was watching one of my second grade students who struggled with reading finally begin to read with confidence on their own. The joy and pride on their face when they realized they could do it was unforgettable. Seeing that growth, both academically and emotionally, reminded me why I became a teacher and how meaningful even small breakthroughs can be.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000, I would use the funds to create meaningful learning experiences for my students through more field trips and hands on activities connected to the stories we read in class. Bringing literature to life through real world experiences, interactive projects, and engaging classroom activities would deepen comprehension and make learning memorable. I would also purchase additional books and resources to support literacy growth and spark a love of reading.
