I became a teacher because I was inspired by people who were teachers either by design or through circumstance. Those people were who I want to become.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThere are so many! My most memorable was when I did a 7th/8th STEM lesson using the Three Little Pigs as my introduction. The students had to make houses out of materials they had to purchase on a provided budget. I was the big bad wolf that will attempt to knock down their engineered house. It was fun, engaging, and innovative on both student and teacher end.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would enhance or provide the STEAM resources. Minecraft learning, Lego Engineering, coding programs for all, and an engineering lab.
