I became a teacher because as a child I had one teacher who saw me and saw my struggles. I am dyslexic and have always had a hard time with reading and I felt if I became I teacher I could help students with the same difficulties I had.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI had a student who struggled to type their English informative paper. I then realized the glare from the computer and her dyslexia made it hard for her. I showed her a trick for her computer to help her see and get her paper done.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would help my daughter pay for her master’s program and take a vacation with my family.
