I became a teacher because are naturally drawn to me and I've been around them all my life. I got my degree in EEC and never looked back. I love seeing my students learn new life skills every day. Knowing the parents feel safe and secure with me as their teacher is a great feeling!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable experience would be helping a struggling child get through a very difficult life change. Dealing with difficult behaviors with respect, compassion and empathy. Being able to watch the child flourish, once they got the love they needed and some vocabulary words to help them communicate, made all the difference.
What would you do with the $25,000?I have been a single mom for 18 yrs and my daughter just graduated after finishing school online after the death of her grandfather from COVID, she wasn't able to do in person classes. I'd use it to catch up bills and take a little vacation with my daughter. It would be nice to not be stressed in life and be able to breathe for the first time in years.
