I became a teacher because I wanted to make a difference and impact on the lives of the students I encounter each day.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThere are many memorable moments, like receiving letters and notes from students on how I have given them hope, strength, encouragement, and made math easier. Other moments that stand out include, being chosen as a teacher by students to wear their jersey, or to pitch a baseball on senior night. One moment in particular was being chosen as a favorite teacher by the class of 2025; I was in complete shock when my name was said!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would begin by making donations to the organizations that helped me and my son during his fight with cancer. I’d of course payoff bills, and invest.
