Tell us why you became a teacher

“I became a teacher because I want to help students learn, grow, and believe in themselves. Education can change lives, and I want to make a positive difference in my students’ futures.” Being a good teacher can positively change a student’s future and confidence.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experience was helping a scholar overcome difficulties at their home. So daily I would bring personal hygiene supplies and make sure the scholar had clean uniforms, deodorant and smell good. I also brought him lunch & snacks plus a signature water bottle.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would put a down payment on a first time home for my children and I. This would really help my family and I financially and keep me out of the financial burden that I’m currently facing today. I work two jobs as a teacher and a certified nursing assistant to make ends meet. Thank you for the opportunity. Looking to speaking with you soon.
