Learn MoreI became a teacher because it's what I have wanted to do since I was 17. I have always loved kids and knew I was meant to do something to make sure I help them succeed. I have loved teaching ever since. 23 years in the field and I can honestly say I still feel like I make a difference in some child's life I have.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was when I was teaching preschool. I was a preschool teacher for 10 years and during that time I remember a specific student, whom I was the reason she was able to read, write and develop social skills. She came to us without any exposure to socializing or any type of academics. She was reading by the age 5 and writing complete sentences before going to kindergarten. She came to see me at the age 10 complimenting me on the impact I had in her life.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would first pay off student loans and then would love travel with my family.
