Tell us why you became a teacher

To serve the community and the students. I have always done everything for the students and I always will. Their best interest is always in my heart. Every time I feel tired and exhausted they are always nice to me when they I am drained and worn out. I have always wanted to be a teacher because God is amazing and he has given me great teachers all my life.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

When I used to start out subbing I didn’t have a connection with the students. The more I started subbing for other schools the more I realized I want to make a strong connection with students and help them do good things in their lives. The most memorable thing for me about teaching is one day I had upset a student by telling them to sit down and be quiet. I’ll never forget the look on the students face when she was happy that I gave her a prize for helping me all day. It was a very nice.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would donate some of the money to the school I work at now. And the rest of it I would give to charity and my mom of course. But most of the money would be donated to the school system.
