I became a teacher because I understand how powerful early childhood experiences are. The first years of life shape confidence, communication, and emotional security. I wanted to create a safe, nurturing space where children feel seen, heard, and valued. Teaching allows me to guide little minds while partnering with families to build strong foundations for lifelong learning.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was helping a child who struggled with separation anxiety. Through patience, structure, and reassurance, I watched her grow from tearful mornings to confidently walking in with aSeeing that transformation reminded me that teaching isn’t just about academics—it’s about emotional growth, trust, and building resilience in young children.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to expand and strengthen my childcare program. Funds would support upgraded learning materials, enhanced safety measures, and securing a larger licensed space. I would invest in professional development to elevate the quality of instruction. A portion would also establish a scholarship fund for families in need, ensuring access to high-quality early education regardless of income.
