Tell us why you became a teacher

I be came a teacher to be some the bridge be tween mental health behaviors and family communication to assure they understand their child form the child’s perspective. To create and outlet that fosters learning and social emotional balance in the class room. I hope as my children learn about them selves the parents learn as well to create harmony between home and school.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

Teaching kindergartners at the time . A child was having some problems with the seperation of the parents and he depicted during journaling. The child drew a picture of his mother in the water no life jacket no swim attire, to the left of the picture stood his father and him on land under the sun. The child would have rather been with his father. How ever I reported this to my principal at the time .In conclusion the child and his parents where happy to have family therapy and things improved

What would you do with the $25,000?

For 26 yrs I’ve been teaching children about them selves I want to Build a school that focuses on children’s mental health and social emotional needs using all art forms as a vehicle to heal.
