I am a behavioral needs teacher. My students are 2nd-4th grade. School for them is their safe place. ❤They all come from a place of trauma.

I became a teacher for children with special needs because my sister and I are five years apart. I’m older. She struggled in school and I was always willing to help her with homework. It was then that I knew I was destined to be a teacher.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable moment teaching was just three years ago. I was working in the behavioral classroom and one of my students made so much progress that we were able to transition her back to the mainstream. She is now flourishing in middle school!
What would you do with the $25,000?With the $25,000 I would pay off my student loans from my doctor program and I would continue to finish my classes to earn my PhD. Anything left over I would save to buy things for my unfortunate students.
