Whatching the love and care my 2nd grade teacher gave everyday. Her patience shined through all situations in our inner city school. Seeing my fellow classmates love learning and her, inspired me. Today, i am working in pre school and after many years, i too have many smiles in my groups.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThis may be a little unprofessional but it makes me smile 15yrs later. When we began offering children choices, i started my letting my 4s and 5s pick a song to sing at circle time. One courages little guy stood up, smiled proudly and asked, " Can we sing The Thong Song!" Of course I redirected but i will never forget him!
