Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher to build strong educational bonds with children and to teach the knowledge that will help them grow as an adult! It’s more than just the classroom for me, I love on my students in a very loving nurturing way! I believe in them more than they ever would!

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

That would be moving from Kindergarten to 1st grade! I remember being sad that I wouldn’t encounter the fresh brains per se and doing the fun kindergarten things with the babies! But as a result of the move I was allowed by my principal to loop with my kindergarten students and oh how the parents and students rejoiced! I really got to experience the product of my teaching and what they learned in Kindergarten they brought it over to 1st grade!

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would donate the money to my school! Williams elementary is the oldest school in my city! It can use some repairs and up to date things for the kids! It can use to color walls for brightening the building! It can use new books and better story time areas! I would definitely revamp some things at my school!
