I always enjoyed educating young kids when I was a student and continued my trek as I progressed through school. Now I look at teaching as a way to help kids realize their potential and how to adapt in society as a progressive adult.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceAs a teacher of 8 years, I had a parent who needed me to assist with getting her daughter out of a back yard. She needed me to be her other parent and help her be a person she can trust. In the end, I had to help the mom be a better mom and the student understand she has people she can come to when times are tough.
What would you do with the $25,000?Give my students a better curriculum to really understand science on a real world forum.
