Learn MoreI became a teacher because I believe education changes lives. I love watching students grow in confidence, discover their strengths, and realize they can do hard things. Teaching allows me to challenge minds, build relationships, and make a lasting impact. Every day is a chance to inspire, encourage, and help students see their potential.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceOne of my most memorable moments teaching Geometry was during a lesson on similar triangles. A usually quiet student suddenly said, “I finally get it.” That breakthrough changed everything. From that day on, they became confident, participated often, and even began helping classmates. Watching that transformation reminded me why I teach, those lightbulb moments truly matter.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000, I would invest in things that create lasting impact. I’d upgrade classroom resources and technology for my students, support South Gallia athletics with needed equipment and safety gear, and contribute to scholarship funds for seniors. I’d also set aside some for my own professional growth and a small portion for my family, because impact starts at home.
