Teaching lets me spark curiosity, build confidence, and watch students discover they’re capable of more.

I became a teacher to make a real difference in students’ lives. I wanted a career where I could support growth, open doors, and help young people see their potential. Teaching allows me to combine purpose with impact—guiding students to think critically, believe in themselves, and prepare for a future they’re proud of.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was watching a student who once struggled to participate confidently lead a class discussion. Seeing their growth—from hesitation to pride—reminded me why teaching matters. Moments like that, when effort turns into confidence and success, stay with me and reinforce the impact teachers have every day.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would invest the $25,000 directly into my classroom and students by expanding hands-on learning resources, technology, and enrichment opportunities. Funds would support project-based learning, student supplies, and professional development so I can better meet diverse needs and create engaging, future-ready learning experiences.
