Tell us why you became a teacher

Because I have a Down Syndrome neighbor who never went to school and always was in his house balcony saying bye to everyone. At my young age I couldn’t understand why he was lock in his home with no opportunities to play, learn or socialize with others.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

An Autustic boy who always was in his own world and during the graduation ceremony he get the microphone and lead the whole graduation ceremony.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Buy devices for my non verbal students and stay few more years teaching and helping kids grow academically, socially and emotionally
