Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I knew I was very good with children. I just wanted every child that came across my path to experience what a good teacher would be like. I want children to have a positive school experience.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable teaching experience is when I was teaching 6th grade which wasn’t my choice because no one wanted this class and a few teachers had had already quit. I started with this class in January and I will admit it was rough and some days I went home ready to quit but I didn’t give up. One day myself and the children were walking down the hall and a teacher pulled me to the side and said, “you are doing such a great job with them and everyone is talking about it.” I was proud of myself

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would pay off my car and catch up on my bills.
