Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy second year teaching 6th grade I became especially close to this group of students. I visited homes and was even invited to special events. It was an amazing year. There was one particular student that captured my heart and she needed some guidance and support. Today that student is my 36 year old daughter and I get to experience that life changing year daily with three of my beautiful grandchildren.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I were to win the $25,000 dollars, I would first donate to the kids ministry at my church . Then I would stock my school PBIS store for the year so that we could continue to make incentives available for students that make good choices. I would stock my classroom treasure box as well. Finally because of my dedication to my students past and present, my family shares me with a lot of people. I would love to take them on vacation. We haven’t had a chance to do that in years.
