I became a teacher to give back to kids what I was given from a few amazing teachers, but also to change the idea of student-teacher interaction and to open the line of communication that we as teacher play a bigger role then just an educator rather a safe space for kids to be themselves
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy most memorable teaching experience was when I was given the space to be vulnerable during a conversation that was deep and my students in that moment saw me the same way they see themselves
What would you do with the $25,000?Pay my student loan and further my education while putting money away for my sons education, something I was able to have done for myself, and I wasn’t neglected by any means but my loans are very hefty
