I became a teacher to help my community, like many of my teachers helped me reach my goals and end the cycle of poverty.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceI’m very fortunate for my former students to find me on social media and learn of the wonderful lives they were able to for themselves. Learning of their accomplishments as adults reminds me that the fruits of my labor were worth it!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to have a huge class reunion and invite my former students from the past 26 years of my teaching career and share a great meal together.
