Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher I enjoy helping kids learn. I love that every day is different and come home with lots of funny stories.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

One of the most memorable experiences I can recall involved a former student who was going through a serious health complication and struggling with the reality that she could no longer participate in sports. At the time, I had a conversation with her to offer encouragement and support. Nearly ten years later, we ran into each other, and she shared how much that conversation had meant to her. She told me she still looks back on being in my class with fond memories, really meant a lot.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the money for my family. I have four kids and would use some of the money for a family vacation. I would use the rest of it on a down payment for a new vehicle.
