I became a teacher because I have a passion for Science- all science! And I love to pass that joy of seeing the connections to the real world and how it works on to my students!
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceWhen one of my students said in his senior speech "I didn't really know what I was going to do with my life. Then, Mr. Stander introduced me to Chemistry, and suddenly I knew what I can do and be good at it" (paraphrased from graduation May 2019).
What would you do with the $25,000?Alleviate some debt, have a real vacation. Things to reduce my stress level so I can once again give my best for my students.
