Luckily for me, I had pretty decent teachers who showed me that they were willing to do anything they needed to make sure we enjoy learning. Even if it meant embarrassing themselves for the sake of a laugh or to grab our attention. I became a teacher for two reasons: 1. There is a need for more male and black teachers. 2. I want to be able to motivate the youth in the same way that my teachers once did. Even if it means embarrassing myself (which I gladly do on a daily basis)

I recently threw a pizza party in which my students raised money for it! However, the students decided to take all the money they raised and donate it to two students with Lymphoma Cancer! Due to this selfless act, Donatos Pizza catered them a pizza party free of charge! They also gained the help from GoFundMe who created the families with cancer a page in which they received $8215 worth of donations on a goal of $10K in just 3 weeks!

Since I just recently had a son, I would most likely put that money into a fund for him. Being able to set him up for success in the future and then showing him how it was accomplished will hopefully motivate him to do good in this world and way to give back also
