Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because I truly wanted to help children grow—not just in academics, but also in life. One moment that really inspired me was seeing how much potential kids have when they’re given the right guidance. I want to help them become not only successful, but also responsible, resilient, and caring individuals. It’s my goal to guide them so they can truly “fly high” and shape a bright future for themselves.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

Every year of teaching is a journey filled with meaningful connections. Each class brings students who are unique, with their own strengths in intellect, emotions, and communication. At the start of the year, I look forward to discovering their potential and guiding them through challenges. As the months pass, I witness their growth and progress. By the end of the school year, it is rewarding to see them more confident, capable, and ready for the next stage of their lives.

What would you do with the $25,000?

Receiving $25,000 would be a life-changing blessing for my family. It would help us meet our needs and support my siblings in completing their education. I would also share this blessing by helping young Filipino children who struggle with their schooling. By providing them with complete school supplies for the upcoming school year, I hope to give them encouragement, opportunity, and the resources they need to learn, grow, and succeed in their education.
