Tell us why you became a teacher

I have always loved helping people and seeing their reactions when something finally clicked. I also had an amazing math teacher in high school who really impacted my life and I wanted to be able to so the same.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I have been teaching for awhile now but one of my memorable teaching experiences was outside of the classroom. I was in my hometown and I ran into a former student and their parent. They both went on to say that I made a huge impact in their education and helped them get the services they needed that really allowed them to excell as them moved to higher grade levels. They said that I helped them in ways that I couldn't have imagined.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I know this is probably cheesy but id give some to my family to help them out. Then I probably use some to spice up my classroom a little. Whatever is left id probably invest or save.
