I became a teacher because I notice something in students before the students see it themselves—talent, intelligence, creativity, leadership. Helping that potential grow can be deeply rewarding.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceThere are so many memorable experiences but my most memorable was becoming a virtual teacher for a year. I was able to polish my technology skills and make a difference in those students even from afar.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would save up some of the money but I would also like to have money available to have a self care station in my classroom in which students can help themselves when they need any toiletries or snacks so they can feel better and be more productive.
