Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher to encourage children and to support them with achieving not only academics but real life goals. I have taught High School, Junior High, and Elementary. Across the board kids need encouragement and support.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

I had a behavior child in his Sophomore year, I told him if he would give me just 50% of his effort, I would give him 100% of mine. I taught him from his Freshman to Junior year. We would do after school tutoring daily. I got moved to the Junior High and I was so worried about him continuing the journey without me. One day I was teaching and got a knock at my door. It was him in his cap and gown. He said "I did itam graduating." He went to college but he passed away. He taught me how to teach

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would pay some on my student loans and put some back for my daughter's college fund.
