Tell us why you became a teacher

I became a teacher because of my love for children. I always knew I wanted to do some type of work involving kids. After taking part in a program in high school that involved having lunch bunch with special needs children, I knew this is what I wanted to do. After I became a teacher I learned I had such a deep love for teaching as well.

Tell us about your most memorable teaching experience

My most memorable moments are when former students come back and remember me and their parents tell me of the impact I had on them. I teach children with special needs so I don’t always get to see the impact or progress made during our time together.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use the money to help buy a house and donate a portion of it to my church. Specifically those in my church who are doing mission work.
