Learn MoreBeing a teacher is in my blood. Both of my parents were teachers, and it goes back generations on my mother’s side. Even as a child, I was always pretending to be a teacher. I love kids, and I love helping them grow and learn.
Tell us about your most memorable teaching experienceMy favorite teaching moments are when things start to click with students. When I taught first grade, I loved how suddenly things would make sense for them when reading. They moved from decoding to fluently reading and comprehending. It’s an amazing jump!
What would you do with the $25,000?I love to travel and share my experiences with my students. I would probably spend the money on an epic trip with my family or a down payment on a house. (Although, realistically, I’ll also spend some on my classroom.) 😆
